The female under 14 team of the Barga Tennis Club started off the season at home last Saturday against the Tirrenia team in the FIT championship, with a fabulous victory of 2-1, after almost 7 hours play. The youngest of the team, Michela O’Neal, had a good game in her first experience in a tournament but nevertheless was defeated. The doubles challenge was decisive with Carlotta Da Prato and Alice Simonetti against Alice Mazzini and Ilaria Garzella. The Barga team won 6-4/7-5. An excellent result therefore for the young players Carlotta, Michela and Alice and for their coach Andrea del Vaso. Well done!
