Filecchio Women ci riprova; trasferta insidiosa nel Lazio
Archiviata la sofferta vittoria contro il Riccione il Filecchio Women affronta domenica (ore 14,30) l’insidiosa trasferta di Marina di Ardea (Latina) contro l’Aprilia Racing. E’ la nona giornata di andata di un campionato che vede attualmente la squadra di Francesco Passini al terzo posto alle spalle delle corazzate Bologna e Arezzo. Attenzione all’Aprilia Racing, reduce dalla sconfitta (0-3) di Arezzo, ma che si è rinforzato con l’arrivo di tre giocatrici americane. Finora la squadra biancoceleste laziale non ha conosciuto mezze misure: 4 vittorie e 4 sconfitte il suo altalenante ruolino di marcia. Nel Filecchio sono fuori causa Nellini, Pieroni e Vergaro. Il resto della rosa è a disposizione e la squadra promette battaglia. Poi sarà già Arezzo al J. Moscardini di Barga.
My tastes from Italy: Umbria e Lazio
UMBRIA The region is exactly in the middle of Italy. It is the most mystic region of our country. Here St. Francesco was born, in the town of Assisi. The cathedral preserves the works of Giotto, marvellous examples of the best medieval paintings. Umbria and Tuscany are the region in which you can breath the medieval atmosphere everywhere. An aunt of mine lives in the town of Spoleto, where the “Festival of the Two Worlds” takes place every summer. So, I have the opportunity to stay there, in the medieval town centre, and see performances of the artists from the old world and from the new. In Umbria you can find tasty black truffles. Unlike white ones, black truffles are chopped and cooked to make a sauce (taste “crostini”) and not grated onto dishes.
