Barga’s Scottish Weekend”, three days of culture, music and gastronomy dedicated to Scotland and the important relationship between Barga and Scotland from 2nd to 4th September in Barga by Pro Loco, Town Hall of Barga and Tra le righe Libri. On 2nd September with food-tasting of typical Scottish products in the Historical Centre (at 20); Saturday 3rd September
football game between National Italian and Scottish Writers at “Johnny Moscardini” Stadium (at 10); Official welcoming at Town Hall (at 14,30 Palazzo Pancrazi); Book Presentations of Diletta di Castro “Stories and legends of Scotland – Isle of Skye”, Alessandro Boretti “Legend of Saint Albert”, Paolo Gulisano “For the honour of Ireland” (Red telephone Box at 16,30); Dinner in Piazza Angelio (at 20). Sunday 4th September Closing Buffet (at 13) at Piazzale del Fosso.
During the event the VII National Meeting of Celtic Supporters Club will take place organised by Barga CSC.
