Semi-precious stone jewelry, painted fabrics, art exhibits and antique objects. Biodynamic wine, Slow Food Presidium “Bazzone” prosciutto, biroldo and mondiola of the Garfagnana. These are just some of the many specialties that will welcome the visitors of the “Autumn Festival”; a weekend with good food and handcrafted items dedicated to the Autumn season and organized by the Il Ciocco Tenuta e Parco.

The event, now in its 4th edition, will take place on Saturday and Sunday,September 17 and 18, from 10am to 7pm (free admission).

There will be entertainment for the little ones with artists workshops and circus performances on Saturday and the children’s musical “The Fantastic World of Pinocchio” on Sunday. The programme continues on Sunday with the traditional dances of the folk group La Muffrina and the aperitif in jazz with the Aristodemo’s in the Piazza del Ciocco.

Along with the patronage of the Municipality of Barga and Fosciandora, as last year, the event is also partnered with an important local business that products and markets typical local products, the L’Antica Norcineria. This is a confirmation of the special bond that ties Il Ciocco with the historic family of master butchers.

Festival d’Autunno The schedule

The “Autumn Festival” will take place on Saturday and Sunday,September 17 and 18, from 10 am to 7 pm, a weekend with good food and handcrafted items dedicated to the Autumn season and organized by the Il Ciocco Tenuta e Parco.

10:30 am Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, with local and state officials

10:30am – 6:30pm Workshops and circus performances with the members of the non-profit cooperative Chez nous…le cirque!

3:30pm Distillation of the Il Ciocco lavender with agronomist Claudio Lorenzoni.

SUNDAY 18

11:00am Traditional dances with the folk group La Muffrina

4:00pm Children’s Musical: “The Fantastic world of Pinocchio” with Incanto Party Planner e Animazione

5:30pm Aperitif in music with The Aristodemo’s
