The Barga-Scotland connection has been celebrated in this way for years. Many Barga people made their fortune in Scotland by opening up or running fish & chip restaurants or take-aways and thanks to this dish so strongly connected to Barga emigration, A.S Barga organise this Festival every year. Succulent Fish & Chips cooked and served according to the original recipe. Also gluten-free fish and chips (every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 29 July).
